FOOD & DRINKS

You are celebrating your birthday or it’s your best friend’s birthday and you want the night to be perfect, right? If so, this ebook is made just for you!

You are probably tired of seeing the same old, same old when it comes to shots and you want something fun, interesting, and unique, right? I understand that, and this book is here to your rescue. From the perfect party starter to shots for the whole evening, you will find it all here. You don’t have to look anywhere else and you can put down that phone. Who wants to waste the evening Googling how to make your next shot? Instead of hunting for something you hope will be fun and tasty, you can move on to the next one in the list, and you know what? Your night will be focused on the party, not the search!

Here we go!

1. The Birthday Party Starter

This is our birthday-fied version of the classic lemon drop shot! This is the most common shot for first time drinkers and light weights :) The perfect drink to get the party started, with a twist.

It’s early in the evening and you want to kick off your birthday party with a bang, right? Well, here is a great shot to do just that. It has a nice orangey taste to it and it’s very sweet. After all, you want to save those shots with a kick for later when you need something to bring you back from the dead.

Ingredients

  • 1 part Orange Vodka
  • 1 part Peach Schnapps
  • A Splash of fresh lemon juice

Preparation

  1. Put half and half orange vodka and peach schnapps in a cup.
  2. Add in lemon juice and ice.
  3. Pour back and forth between two cups to chill and then pour in a shot glass.
  4. You can add sugar to the top by dipping the rim of the shot glass in water then rubbing it on sugar.

Make sure you make shots for your gal pals too because this is a great way to start the party for everyone.

2. BIRTHDAY CAKES

What’s a birthday without a cake? Even if you and none of your friends know how to bake, you can still have that cake in liquid form. This smooth shot tastes just like you bit into the tastiest, most decadent slice of birthday cake you could imagine. This is one of those fun layered shots too.

Ingredients

  • 1 part Malibu Coconut Rum
  • 1 part Pineapple juice
  • Grenadine syrup

Preparation

  1. Mix together one third of the glass in rum and one third in pineapple juice.
  2. Add in ice and pour between two cups to chill.
  3. Pour into your shot glass.
  4. Top with grenadine syrup slowly so that it stays on top of the alcohol. Layers of color for a layered birthday cake!

If you want a drink you can enjoy even longer, you can use a bigger glass and keep the ice. It is tasty either way.

3. LOCA ENAMORADA

If you like lemonade, then you will be fascinated with this one. It’s an adult lemonade so of course it should be included on your birthday shot list.

Ingredients

  • 1 part fresh lime juice
  • 1 part Berry Vodka (any berry will do. Feel free to experiment!)
  • 1 part Triple Sec
  • 1 part cranberry juice

Preparation

  1. Split up your shot in four parts.
  2. Add equal parts of all four ingredients along with ice.
  3. Pour between two cups to chill and then pour into your shot glass.

Think of all that sweet and tart goodness! If you want to try a little twist on this one, use raspberry vodka and toss a fresh raspberry in as well.

4. BIRTHDAY SEX ON THE BEACH

Yes, it sounds a little dirty, but you won’t find any grit in this drink. It’s easy and smooth, making it an ideal option especially if it is your 21st and this is your first time drinking. It won’t overwhelm you even if it does seem a little naughty!

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ parts vodka
  • ½ part peach schnapps
  • 1 part cranberry juice
  • 1 part orange juice

Preparation

  1. In a cup, imagine you are splitting the shot into five. Add equal amounts of cranberry and orange juice with about a part and a half of vodka and then a little peach schnapps.
  2. Put ice in and then pour between two cups until chilled and add to a shot glass.

Lots of fruits and berry flavors in this shot make it easy to go down, so why not try it out?

5. BIRTHDAY BEHAVIOR

What do you consider as birthday behavior? Do you want to party all night? Well, that’s a given! This is my version of birthday behavior wrapped up in a smooth and delicious little shot.

Ingredients

  • 1 part Jäger
  • 1 part cranberry juice
  • 1 part peach schnapps

Preparation

  1. Divide your shot into thirds and then add one third of each ingredient.
  2. Add in ice and then pour between two glasses until chilled.
  3. Add to your shot glass.

Not all shots should be about a kick and this one does the trick when you want something that just tastes good.

6. PINK DIVA

Ok, ok, so we have had the chocolate. What else belongs in a celebration? Candy, of course. This shot with the sweet name tastes a lot like a cherry Jolly Rancher. Sounds pretty good, right?

Ingredients

  • 1 part unflavored vodka
  • 1 party Triple Sec
  • 1 splash of grenadine syrup
  • 1 splash of lime juice

Preparation

  1. Pour half and half vodka and triple sec.
  2. Add in grenadine, lime juice and ice.
  3. Pour back and forth between two cups and then add to a shot glass when chilled.

When you are craving sweet, you just cannot go wrong with this one! Want to make this one pretty? Add pink sugar to the rim of your shot glasses. It’s girly for sure.

7. SOUTHERN SEAS

So, you are somewhere in the middle of your birthday night. You may be feeling tired, or sleepy, or dead to the world. It’s time to wake up girl! This shot will do it, but you may need to be tied down to drink it; you’ve been warned. It has a kick that works better than a Red Bull to get a girl back from the dead. It’s a great way to continue the party and I dare you to take it!

Ingredients

  • 1 part tequila
  • 3 parts Tabasco sauce
  • Salt
  • Lime Wedge

Preparation

  1. Imagine splitting the shot in fourths and make it three quarters Tabasco and one quarter tequila.
  2. Pour together and then go through the steps below. Ok, you need some advice on how to drink this one. Believe me. You don’t want to go it on your own!
  3. Once you have the tequila and Tabasco mixed, pour some salt on your hand and grab a lime wedge.
  4. Lick the salt, bite the lime, count to three, and slam the shot. Woke you up didn’t it?

8. DIAMOND CREAM

After that southern sass, we need to move on to something a little smoother. Since, diamonds are a girl’s best friend, this shot is a good one to start or end your birthday night. It’s sort of like a sexy dessert drink, so save it for just the right time.

Ingredients

  • 1 part Bailey’s Irish cream
  • 1 part Kahlua
  • Whipped cream for topping

Preparation

  1. Mix together half and half Bailey’s Irish Cream and Kahlua.
  2. Add in ice and then pour between two cups to chill.
  3. Add it to your shot glass and top with whipped cream.

Sounds decadent, doesn’t it? Want to make things even more fun? The traditional way to drink this one is with your hands behind your back, pick the shot glass up with your mouth and throw your head back. Dare your girls to do the same!

9. DRUNK IN LOVE

Now it’s time for something a little richer and more decadent. What girl could celebrate her birthday without some chocolate involved, right? If that’s how you feel, then this shot is for you. It’s smooth. It’s minty. And, most important, it is chocolatey.

Ingredients

  • 1 part Jäger
  • 1 part Goldschläger

Preparation

  1. Just mix half and half of these two ingredients and then add them to a shot glass for serving. That’s all you need.

So, it’s tasty and easy to make (which may be an advantage on your birthday night!) If you want a little more kick, then you can make this more than just a shot. Once you have your shot mixed up, drop it in half a can of Red Bull. Yep, it will keep the night going!

10. FOREVER IN LOVE

Ok, now close your eyes. If you could be anywhere celebrating your birthday, where would it be? How about the beach with the sand in your toes, the breeze in your hair, and a sunny sky above? You don’t have to travel when you can enjoy this shot that will leave you feeling like you are on vacation.

Ingredients

  • 1 part clear rum
  • ½ part Malibu coconut rum
  • ½ part pineapple juice

Preparation

  1. Imagine splitting the glass in two. Fill half of it with rum.
  2. Then split the remaining in two and fill half of that with coconut rum and the other half with pineapple juice.
  3. Add in ice and then pour back and forth between two cups before adding to the shot glass.

Sounds just delish doesn’t it? Transport yourself away to the Bahamas for a bit and then get back to the business of celebrating your birthday!
